'Identities' lands in the musical scene as a winner of a Downbeat Award, awarded by the American Jazz Magazine “Downbeat Magazine”. His music combines a great respect for the century-long jazz tradition with explorations into the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic realms of the contemporary forms. This work was born from the personal experience and the emotional path that the leader experiments in a transition from Barcelona to Amsterdam, where the five musicians who are part of this project meet playing in the great and effervescent jazz scene.
